Common Reasons for Failing KYC Verification
To complete KYC and become a creator, you must have a valid, in-date, government-issued international ID & a bank statement or utility bill dated within the last 3 months
Here are the most common reasons for failing KYC verification:
Unclear or Poor-Quality Images
Make sure the images of your ID and selfie are sharp, clear, and not blurry.Incorrect Zoom Level
Ensure the ID is fully visible—neither too zoomed in nor too far out.Low Lighting Conditions
Take the photo in a well-lit area without glare or reflections.Expired ID
Double-check that your ID is valid and not expired before uploading.Low-Quality Camera
If you're using a desktop, webcams might not be the best option. Switch to a mobile device by scanning the QR code provided during the KYC process for a clearer image.
TIP: Sometimes, devices struggle to focus properly, causing blurriness. To fix this, try placing a white piece of paper behind your ID, and take your selfie against a plain background.
